Arshia Wajid MBA, MPH

Arshia Wajid is the founder, former President, and Vice President of the American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP).  Arshia received a Masters degree in Public Health and Business Administration from the University of Illinois.  After completing a fellowship in hospital administration at the Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY , she worked as a Planning Analyst in Strategic Development at St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Chicago Heights, IL.

Arshia is currently working as a Senior Financial Analyst at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.  She has volunteered as Clinic Coordinator at IMAN Health Clinic, a Muslim Community-based Clinic serving a diverse uninsured and underinsured patient population on Chicago's South Side.  She is a member of the Chicago Healthcare Executives Forum and can be reached at awajid@amhp.us.
